Who’s Jacko?

Jacko is that dude on the stool next to you at the sports bar who seems way too interested in the action on the screen.  You make a casual comment about how much the Raiders suck and then you can’t get the guy to shut up (supporting your point of view, of course, because the Raiders do suck).  But you keep coming back for more anyway.

Jacko is the guy that always seems to have tickets to something.  He’s a sports, adventure and entertainment junkie.   One week it’s a baseball game, the next it’s Coldplay, then off to Vegas and back in time for the next kickoff.  Because, you know, there’s always another thing to do right around the corner.  And when you live in So-CA, that’s actually true.

Jacko isn’t lacking in opinions nor the inertia to voice them.   Sometimes you just have to tune the guy out–particularly if you’re Jacko’s wife.  And it’s for that very reason that Jacko has a blog where he can express his views to everybody and nobody, all at the same time.   I hope you like it.

JackoSports is a blog featuring the football-related insights, analysis, rants and raves of Craig Jacobin.  He’s  a lifelong and die-hard Denver Broncos fan who’s been forced to endure Chargers season tickets since the early 90′s.   He’s also a rabid Colorado Buffs fan, passionate LA Angels fan, USC Trojans fan by geographic default and distant (and lonely) Denver Nuggets fan.  He despises the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys as if they’ve stolen his puppy.  You’ve been warned.

I heard Jaco knows something about advertising too. Any truth to that rumor?

Yes…but barely. And it’s “Jacko” to you, fool.
